By critical thinking Hellstromm-I was aiming at the notion of scientific logic that someone states they need evidence of something (anything in this case-not just God) in order to believe it. Poor choice of words on the critical thinking part.

Oi, while I agree with the bulk of your post, I want to indicate that a critical thinker doesn't "believe" based on evidence, nor does he "believe" that proof justifies belief. Belief is, essentially, without evidence.

I think you are confusing "belief" with "faith".
