You don't 100% need PS to make a decent sig... mine's from MS Paint. But mostly only as I don't have PS at home at the moment and cba at school

I use gimp... its free and it works fine. Plus you can get help on a lot of things. Its a lot more user-friendly/community friendly than photoshop is IMO.

Pfft! PS is easy... I especially love the lens flares, just can't get enough of em'

i use paint.net. it has an excellent layer system, and is free as well.
