Proposed Salery Formula

DeletedUser

No, you can't. The formula is computed on server side. Otherwise you will be able to change your salaries :).

higher wages x higher motivation = more money... that's my formula and it seems to be working

No javascript is executed inside your browser. It's not running on server.

"function(B,A){A=A[0]||1.618;return Math.pow(B,2)*((A+1)*B-A);},Bounce:function(D){var C;for(var B=0,A=1;
1;B+=A,A/=2){if(D>=(7-4*B)/11){C=-Math.pow((11-6*B-11*D)/4,2)+A*A;break;}}return C;},Elastic:function(B,A){return Math.pow(2,10*--B)*Math.cos(20*B*Math.PI*(A[0]||1)/3);"

A-HA!! Just as I suspected.

True, but it communicates with the server, so there are things which get done on the server side and your client only finds out the answer afterward.

Salary is computed on server side and there is no reason to put equation on the client side. You can search but you will not find it there :).

There was an interesting post on czech forum which said that there is a possibility that your LPs only affect the upper maximum salary for that job. The minimum is staying the same.

DeletedUser

Could be true, since most of the time the minimum value was inaccurate in my formula.

DeletedUser

I guess first we need to forget about LPs and collect infos about jobs made with the less possible labor points (1).
We should find a working formula first, after that putting LPs inside must be easy.

if motivation were calculated at the end of each stint, wouldnt that mean that doing jobs for 10 minute stints would produce a better result than working in 2 hour stints, witch to me doesnt seem true every half

Correct; that's been discussed on another thread somewhere around here not long ago. The benefit of scheduling 2 hour sessions is less clicking needed, but the trade-off is lower motivation percentages for the first hour than you would get by scheduling shorter sessions.

I'd like that to be explained to the newbie up front, as it is far from self-evident, yet it is worth knowing.

just curious...

have anyone here tried to:

get the 100% salary wage of each job?(regardless of time, motivation and LP)

i think theres a difference in calculation of salaries on each world...

There shouldn't be a difference. Else if discovered that in World 1, salaries are higher than in say, World 3.... you'd have pandemonium break loose on forum and in the game with unhappy gamers ^^

I'm sure theres no difference between the worlds in configurations. The main problem is the connection between the salary percent and the motivation percent, because it's not linear. We only left the brute way that means we just keep trying with the numbers, but we'd need plenty of result from the widest level range possible, but people not posting here much.

I'd be happy to post anything helpful, but my top char is only level 20. If you think I might have helpful data, let me know what you want. (I have read the thread but got the impression it was geared toward higher level chars.)
