I see quite a few people got the howdah pistol.

On TW, the the required level for the howdah pistol is 70. In the game, I see that it's actually 10 (7 for soldiers w/out premium). Is this a bug?

what i got from cheapest to most expensive (couln't afford the last 4 presents)

Oat
Wooden spike
Coyote tooth
Green studded belt
Fancy Jeans
Fancy Jeans & Allens Pepperbox

Oh and from the free christmas steel lined box i got ... Thomas Hart Benson Fine Belt ... that one made me laugh!! ! also got Ned Bluntline plaid belt from the steel chest from the 'charlie quest' !!

Actually, Sweede, you're wrong. Purchasing of these virtual items is not gambling. It doesn't matter that the item obtainable from the box is specific or random, it is not construed as gambling to purchase virtual items that have no "real world" value. There is, after all, no means to buy or sell these items with real cash.

It is, perhaps, a better idea for you to review both the German gaming laws and those of the EU before further inserting foot-in-mouth. Neither addresses such items, nor anything of similar. I also find it unwise to make such allegations without bothering to review the existing laws on such issues.

Hellstromm mate ic ur doing ur best defend Inno on this stupidity that they did.I have no idea what relations u have whit them but i will try to explain so u can understand why more then 80% of The West players hate them right now(even more):
1-The most important one is ''The lack of info'':They said nothing about what kind of items u will get into each chest,or more important about there value.They put some images and some writing and that's all.Hellstromm how many players do u think will buy those chests if they know exactly what they will get from them??
2-To make more ppl buy there ''PRESENTS'' WHIT REAL CASH,they had to LIE ofc.
Do u remember this line:This Chest CONTAINS(not can contain) items worth over 10k.Well many of u guys know it pretty well cuz when u open it Rudolph,Gingerbread man u got from it.And this is from the unique one.:))))Even when u find an items that is over 10k ,then u get a Elephant..which has no value.
3-The random factor or The Lottery....this is very dangerous when is brought together whit the 2 one -The Lie.This is the one that made ppl so mad.For the same amount of cash a player gets the most powerful weapon in the game,while the other gets a big Bull..t.And this is one of the biggest and expensive Bull...t's i ever seen.
Is not my fault that Inno dev's are so greedy and they totally forget about this Casino kind of game that they invented.We are talking huge amount of cash here folks....this is not a simple walk in the park.They made a Lottery and now they have to pay the price.What other games besides the gambling ones have u ever see a player paying 120$ and he has no idea what he will get(something good,or nothing).
In my opinion tax authorities should investigate a little this Inno smarty pants and see if they have all the right documnets to gamble whit our REAL MONEY.

He is very very wrong.What he;s trying to say here is that cash from ur wallets have no value in virtual world.That means all the nuggets are for free and so the next time when u want something from this game u don't need to pay anything,cuz ur cash have no value:)))))))))))))))))))))Incredible.Hellstromm mate everything is for sale.All u need is a buyer.Even that silly hat on ur head is for sale...if someone wants it ofc:D.I payed cash for the nuggets and nuggets for the chests so that means i payed REAL CASH for the chests.DAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

And as i said Inno did all this things when it was CHRISTMAS.They lied ,decieved and took our cash,while we (more then 80% of the players) got junk ,scrap....nothing good even thos we payed REAAAALLLLLLLLLL Cash.
U don't deserve this number of players u cheaters.....for some more cash u totally forget about us players and trust me this will cost u.

THis post of huliganuL is 100% the true thats why we are all angry right now i am ready to put all players in vacation mode until they solve this problem

i pay this money because they say
This Chest CONTAINS(not can contain) items worth over 10k.

i pay 130 euro for every player do you think i pay this money for the Christmas sled , rudolph , garet pants, machete nat's, pilow?


And off course i have the right to be angry if some one pay the same money and get the Innogames belt = 40 atributes present howdah, peacemaker billy AND i get rudolph, pillow, nat's, christmas sled in the same chest.

i Play 3 worlds net and 3 worlds greece server and i did not found one time the innogames belt but i pay more then 600 euro

I MUST BE ANGRY , I HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE ANGRY

could the devs or their reps please clarify as to what exactly is premium ?

according to me, items which can be obtained from jobs or drops or quests are common and not premium. my definition would be as follows;

athos = not premium
nat = not premium
hernando = not premium
allen = not premium
harmonica = not premium
inno belt = premium (but no use at high levels)
howdah = premium
sniper = premium
wyatt = premium
general grant = premium
ostrich = dunno what to say
potions = dunno what to say

i would honestly like for someone (from inno) to clarify what is their description of premium or rare or other boxes. even though its kinda late in the day....but it might help others (at least a few players) understand if the precise clarification is given instead of something vague.

i hope to get a concrete reply from one of the community managers.

everyone please take a break and live with it as long as you like to show your frustration on people who implemented the christmas presents i guess you will never get a concrete answer on this argument.Your money spent has been used to buy roast turkey for the kids and christams presents so please next christmas be cautious before buying any presents and dont complain you haven't be warned

it is very easy for some guys to talk if they do not pay for the nugget's BUT i think the best is to do not talk in this topic if you don't pay for the presents and let us try to write our problems with this comedy christmas presents :mad::mad:

why don't you try it out....it dosn't do anything at all for jobs (at least the jobs that i am doing with my build which 'some' of the other players 'ought' to be doing as well), most of the pistol belts or other belts are delivering more LP than this belt. some situations are mentioned below and you should check them out :)

chasing bandits = fancy pistol belt +60
grave robber = brown pistol belt +55
digging for rare gemstones = black pistol belt = +50
construct a casino = fancy pistol belt = +75
etc. etc. etc.

oh yes....it does do better in battles :)

True, fancy pistol is the best belt for like 75% of jobs it seems. Brown and gray for a couple, black for a few, black skull and a few other random belts for the rest. Would have been great to have for animal spirits if you haven't done them all yet though.

i have each and every shop/drop item on me except about a dozen pants.
and yes it would have helped in reskilling costs for AP especially if you don't have nuggets....but then again, if you don't have nugget you don't have the inno belt either lol. anyways....i done all the quests and will not fall into the trap of reskilling again....only quest left is charlie and i'll do that after inno is finished with introducing more of these ridiculous expensive quests.

i just hope that someone gives me a proper reply towards my earlier post....two of my chests gave me fancy indian pants lol. they say they have forwarded the issue to the devs & i am waiting for a response from the devs.

all in all....i'm partially ok with what i got (inno belt, sniper rifle, howdah etc. etc.) but am disappointed with the other stuff, especially the pants apart from the misleading descriptions. if i had known that these premium boxes will give out the likes of athos or hernando etc....i would never have spent 20k nuggets on them. they are like steel with the extra howdah or sniper and not worth it in my opinion.

Inno did in fact say that the chests contain items worth over 10k. That was in fact a lie. Hellstromm, you do look a little silly defending Inno's position on this. I think huliganuL spoke it best.

I spent good money on some of the things and after getting little in the lower boxes, was convinced the more expensive "presents" were of little value as well.

Seems by the severe drop in gamers on this server that a lot of people would agree that Inno chose to ignore their valuable followers for the want of some quick money. It will last far less time than having the long term players coming back day after day.

It is much better to have 10 people paying $10.00 than 1 paying $100.00.

Well, good luck to all that believe Inno really cares. I'll use the rest of my nuggets up then I'll most likely quit.

Yea, the greed is at home for Inno.
One good example from recent past Louis CK Makes $200,000 Profit in Four Days With Online Video, you only pay $5 and in the end Louis CK Shows How to Self-Distribute a Video, Brings in $1 Million Online , and yes I bought the video in 5 minutes after I heard that it is $5 and I will continue buying from him.
Comparing to Inno where I payed for premium for more than 2 years (one year didn't bought because that was the time that I stayed at level 99 without anything to do) and I will never buy until is at least 3x nuggets offer, to compensate for the disappointment/frustration/lack of communication/lack of hearing the players feedback in the last year (at least).

Personally I will continue playing, invested too much money/time/friends in game to quit, but because all the day I'm online I've started to post and will continue to post negative feedback (and I encourage you to do the same, this is the way we can make Inno listen to us ) for the game so others will not join to get disappointed like me.

Defending Inno? I pointed out the legal claims were unfounded, even outright drama-building by at least one person attempting to fuel discontent. I pointed out a lot of drama on this issue, posed mostly by people that spent only ingame cash. I pointed out the contents of these boxes is reasonably established and people needed only to ask around. I pointed out that people buying grab bags, and not getting good items, are certainly going to complain, but that it's unreasonable, considering they bought a grab bag, there are indeed people who obtained good items, these are virtual items --- not hd tvs you can park in your living rooms.

You won't be seeing the peeps who obtained good items spamming this thread in discontent and posturing. So while I do sympathize to some degree for those who didn't get a maserati from their respective grab bag purchases, I think the notion of "perspective" is entirely lost here.
