Possible Bug in Secret Love Questline

Description:
I can't complete the 'Shoot El Capitano' objective in the Secret Love's Shooting in the Saloon quest. I assume I need to do Exploration (5 hours) beforehand, but as seen in the screenshots, I still get the message 'You do not fulfill the requirements.' However, when I check the reports, I can see that I have already dueled El Capitano..

I have already hard refreshed my browser (Ctrl + F5).
I have already consulted the Bugs FAQ.
I have searched if the bug has been reported before.
I have no browser addons, userscripts, or extensions enabled.

I know, you can see in the image I already KO him. Actually all of the reports you can see above end with KO.

in that case you should send a support ticket, as that gets the fastest answers to bug questions

every quest that has requirements to work X hours and win a duel against NPC can only be completed in a way that you FIRST do the jobs, then duel the NPC. it's been like that since the game was released more than decade and a half ago.
the button to duel the NPC is the same button used to complete the quest, just with a different label. when you do the jobs, and then duel the NPC, you do not need to additionally click "Complete quest" button - it is automatically completed after the duel. if you did not finish the jobs first = you do not fulfill the requirements.

Thank you for the explanation, I understand your point. However, there's one thing I'd like to clarify: If I truly don’t meet the requirements, why am I still allowed to duel ? I understand that it doesn’t give any experience points or money, but it feels like a bug. I receive the message indicating that I haven’t met the conditions, yet I’m still allowed to duel. Wouldn't it make more sense to not allow me to duel repeatedly in the first place if I haven’t fulfilled the requirements ?

That said, I realize this might not be a major bug, but my main goal is to help make the game even better. I appreciate the hard work put into it and just wanted to share my thoughts for improvement!

it's poor design. the meaning of the message is you don't meet the requirements to complete the quest, there is no check to determine if you are allowed to duel or not. when you click "Duel" you are also clicking "Complete quest" - and you can't because you didn't do the jobs. it's the same message that is displayed if you try to complete a timed quest outside of the defined window.
what I am saying is - they did not change that in the last 15 years, I doubt they ever will.
