It's about a serial killer who kills women on Lake Possum Kingdom west of Fort Worth. There was an article in the Dallas Observer (a Dallas alternative weekly newspaper) in the 90s about strippers' favorite songs. One said "Possum Kingdom" because it was so romantic, lol.
