I see DaTwista posted that a new update is coming out today where they are adjusting item prices, and that they are planning some future changes to rebalance the item costs. Does anyone know if there is a place they have/are posting what prices are changing?

p.s. Looking for what changed, not an argument about whether or not there should be changes. :)

They are preparing terrain for bunch of new items (more then 200, i've read somewhere) so prices and level requirements will be adjusted on some items.

But yes, it would be nice if there was list with changes.

Probably the Community Report #2 on the beta forums. That talked about item changes ( new items, price changes, stat changes ) to balance things out. The stuff I have noticed so far has to do with the older items ( Shirts, Hats, ..... ). Looks like they are paving the way for either new levels of these clothes, or the new named items the mentioned, or both. Probably to bring them in line with the pants and belts.

Of course, that community report was for beta, so some or all of those things may not make it to the EN worlds.

My fancy coat $18,900 is now more valuable than Will Munny's Coat $15,000. :)

This Sucks

Those price increase were huge, this takes away all my profit margins

So now that the prices have changed, my question is will the luck range of the jobs be reviewed? As the situation is currently, we would all get woolly hats and fine belts from decent jobs :p

Also, TM and GR would look a bit lame too.. might get a black tie and we will say "Wow" :D

From what I can see, there won't be much change in existing jobs - only new jobs being added to the game with higher luck brackets.

This is still an early stage for me to even be posting this information, but this is something that we can expect in the future.

Is there any hope of the game being stable without constant changes in the near future :hmf:

Every month a new addition of some kind, every three months new lotteries /new sets/ new items....now new prices that make the now existing high luck jobs drops useless...

How much time do you thing this game has left before old players start to lose interest, because they can`t keep up to the constant changes.
How many nuggets for reskills per month/player is the new company target policy ???

Many of the new additions are welcome, because they enhance the gameplay.
But not at the expense of the players...

Makes me glad that World E has been delayed. I'd like to see as much of these changes settled before it is released. :)

With an ever evolving game, tweaks and changes to existing features are imminent. If you want new additional content and features, you're going to have to learn to live with changes to existing features to keep everything balanced.

The item changes are just that, balancing so further content can be added to the game at a later stage. This is how the game has always evolved and will continue to do so.

Just to get this clear... the price of many clothing items has increased massively, but, there won't be any real increase in "wages?" Sounds like a crazy case of inflation which means a lot of things are far less affordable than before.

That's not really the case.

We may have had some large increases in existing items now, but next week we can see 200+ new items in the game to cover the slack over the next few days where the items are a bit more expensive.

These new items will then cover levels that were not really covered before and just thrown in. In order to get a good balance on gear, the best place to possibly start is the existing stuff as it's a pretty mess right now. But the increase in these prices will be sorted out better when the new items arrive.

IMO, they needed to be a lot less affordable. Buying gear was really very easy. You can make money very quickly.
I'm really excited to see MPI's and new jobs, as well as raising the level cap. Leveling is fun :)

It is too easy for higher levels to earn money and afford what they want, but, at a lower level, it isn't as easy.

To get the Gent set now at around level 40-45 will now take a lot of earning and jobbing and people will not be able to get kitted out and will have to specialise... or, as I fear is the truth... they will be pushed to buy the better gear / sets using nuggets.

I appreciate the fact that the developers are working to try and improve the item selections as in some areas, there are not a lot of options compared to other areas (such as hats vs say belts). I also understand why the decision was made to raise the prices on those items here, due to the roll out on beta of both increased priced items and altered properties of each.

However, I really feel sorry for any lower level player who might spend what is now three to four times the price of an item previously, only to find out in a couple of weeks that they will not be able to use that item due to the required level for it going up by 20-50. This is especially bad considering those are supposedly the players that Inno is attempting to lure and keep in the game. With sharp increases in the price of items, no increases in the wages and the potential spending of existing bank balances on items that they will only discover later they can not immediately use, this could likely cause some lower level players to quit the game.

Don't wory about low level players who will not be able to buy the gear; in next update they will change the level requirements, so low level players will not be able to equip these items at their levels - there will be plenty of time to get money.
All items which currently have no level requirement will get one.
Better get used to it and make some adjustments to play style, before new world starts. :D

I feel the price change, stats change, and level requirement should have changed all a once. Those "unaware" people may buy a fancy stetson (e.g.) at level 36 for $14630 and say the next week - "Woah! I can only equip it at level 110!"

P.S.:- Get your collector's achievements done by this week. It Will get tougher soon
