I don't quite follow what you're saying. Are you sure you're on-topic here?

It's beyond me why you're comparing the speed bonus listed under Pioneer and Native American to the existing Soldier class. If anything, the Ranger class could be compared to the Soldier class.
I also don't know why you're telling us about your two duelers that you play with. Your dueling successes or failures in this game are irrelevant to this idea.

This idea is now finished and whatever happens with it happens.

wow way to miss the point but I'm quite used to that on this forum. I'll keep it real simple for you this time

No two classes should share the same bonus even if the bonus suck & you should have brand new bonuses for the band new classes you are suggesting instead of just copying what is already in game

Leave "as is" if you wish but I doubt even if it gets past a vote the dervs are going to make copy cat classes

Thanks for the criticism and no suggestions for new bonuses. Much appreciated. If you have nothing to add to the idea, you shouldn't have posted in the first place. Criticism is generally a poor way of commenting on an idea. Now constructive criticism, where you offer suggestions and help the idea progress is very welcomed.

while right now might not be the best time for me to be giving suggestions u asked...sorta. Keep in mind these are going to be designed to draw players away from the soldier class by working on a theme

Fort Specialist - has theme : all new bonus set : would attract players


Native American - spiritual questers -
starting level on all quests halved
20% extra labor points ( making doing the quests earlier possible )
20% extra attribute points ( 2 extra points awarded every 10 levels )

This class would attract any player who wanted to focus on the story line and doing jobs & would have a better chance at doing ALL jobs

Ranger - wanderer -
No timer to rejoin a town.
The cost to buy town items is reduced by 10%
Horse bonus doubled ( unlike normal speed bonus this would make a noticeable difference )

This class would attract players who like to lone wolf it but would be good for town orientated players too - I would play with it.

regardless of if you use any of that , make changes to it or ignore it entirely in the end I hope the bonuses compete with soldier class as otherwise the majority of players my self included will still chose the overpowered soldier class regardless of how many new choices are around.

I think you have the Ranger class confused. The Ranger class is meant to be a dueler class to either compete against the soldier class or replace both solider and dueler classes in future worlds.

Furthermore, in essence all of your bonus suggestions already exist in the idea.

Like I said, I'm not going to change anything else in this idea. This thread has been here for a full year and has been discussed enough. Thanks for taking interest, but your concerns have already been discussed. There's no such thing as perfecting any idea to the satisfaction of every player in the game.
