Muslim Brotherhood or Military Forces?

In Egypt, the elected president, President Morsi was removed from power by the military after protests that he wasn't implementing reforms and was abusing power. Now, an interim, militarily-backed government is in power there, with counter-protests urging for Morsi's reinstatement.
What do you guys think? Should Morsi be reinstated, or should the civilians continue under the military government, or should a new election be held?

I think that they should hold a new election, with Morsi's name included, as a military government has far too much power.

I agree, I think that a new election should be held, however, democracy will take a long time to reestablish itself, and I think we need to support it along the way.

Hell no to Morsi being reinstated. It's completely idiotic that this administration is supporting fundamentalist Muslims. I'll take a military dictatorship over Sharia.

LOL

Amongst other things its a crucial regional trade route. This isnt about Egypt its about control of the suez, paychecks and western influence,

Look up what happened when Egypt (Nasser) tried to nationalise the Suez canal last time. It will NEVER be allowed to be risked again. Its last 50 years history is bloody and anything but free

Farouk, king of Egypt (1936–52) British Puppet monarch finally overthrown by Nasser and the people
Gamal Abdal Nasser, Egyptian army officer and first president of the republic of Egypt (1956–70) Patriot, socialist and responsible for freeing Egypt from under the yoke of the British puppet Farouk, probably the closest Egypt has had to a leader with Egypts interest at heart and without doubt the greatest political leader of the region in his time, The west btw hated him. 5 million attended his funeral he was beloved theres no doubt about that.
Anwar al-Sadat, Egyptian political leader and president (1970–81) Another Puppet leader pretended by the US to be a wise democratic leader who had opened up the Egyptian economy to the free market, and was loved by his people for making peace for Israel, now accepted this was a complete illusion and nothing but a puppet.
Muhammad Hosni Mubarak, president of Egypt (1981–) No need to point out another Western puppet dictator, totally corrupt military and leadership backed by the west 100%

The by then totally corrupt military supported Murbarak and installed the last regime believing they could continue as before and control Morsi and so did the west. When it became clear the people were rising up having had enough of the previous regime and seeing nothing but the top had changed for the normal people the military hastily swopped sides, they have also installed this interim one and will be fundamental in the next and so will the west no question.

Egypt had a brief period of freedom in the past 50 years with Naseer. Since then its leaderships have all been a tool of the west just like before and with Farouk at the expense of the Egyption people. Its very unlikely any new election will see any change in the current pattern of corrupt and puppet leadership whoever ends up running things. ~Mores the pity

The Coup was a mistake at first place just the same as Mohamed Morsi not responding properly to the change request from people. Knowing that revolution is not the way to democracy (read old fashion book: Animal Farm) but reforming is. It was much better if people just wait for next election instead of forcing the change with military support. Now there is no guarantee that the same do not happen to next president/government and certainly military need bigger portion of power from next government/president, more over military give them the right to use force if something does not go in their will. Also coup/arresting leader of Muslim Brotherhood force the fundamentalist toward underground/armed activities which is reasonable but will have a really bad impact on the movement toward democracy.

I can give a good example: Iran 4 years ago. The government/supreme leader did not listen to the claim of more than 80% of people about fraud in the election. The police and military forces with support of the semi-military forces all getting orders directly or indirectly from supreme leader use force against peaceful protesters, hitting, shooting, arresting them and torturing and raping the arrested people and sentenced them to long term jails/exile. The government in power with fraud ruins the economy of the whole country and with their stupid international relation/strategy UN, US and EU set so many sanctions against Iran which made the bad economy to worse and will take years or decades to remove the sanctions and their effect on the economy. People and opposition just waiting/bearing the burden till next election and even the supreme leader who was main supporter of fraud government had to talk respectfully toward opposition just a few days/week before next election. In next election just a few month ago the candidate who was supported from opposition party (called green movement) win the election. Even the family of people who was dead in jail under torture and people still in jail sending letters to ask people to vote for better change and now supporting the new government.

Just want to say that the best way to democracy is not coup or revolution but reform and what happened in Egypt is not a reform but a revolution.

Now returning of Morsi to power is not possible any more but the temporary government should make sure that all parties (including Muslims Brotherhood and Freedom and Justice Party) be part of next government and play their own roles instead of arresting them. Moreover the role of military forces should become less and less.

For the role of military Turkey is a good example which was under the influence of military coup for so many times.
