The game is built for playing at high levels - tombola sets made it so and level-based shop gear exaggerated the fact - and the physical (or i guess digital) contents of the tombolas aren't set up in a way that is viable on new worlds. They just don't think about the consequences of their actions when setting tombola prize pools.
Are there any duelling sets in DotD? at least maybe some folk like Vic can have a good time with the *******ised shop clothes and early duelling.
Forts don't seem like they'll be any fun with modern tank sets and nothing to damage them.. perhaps forts will end up with a hard cap of 100 vs 65 or something. I fully expect a premium town to dominate forts with no one to oppose and balance it... Again. Anyone with the potential to build an opposition is likely focussed on Colorado and the effect the level cap has had there.
If I know anything about adventures, it's that you'll get shouted at for not being a high level account and daring to join an adventure.
Can anyone even be bothered with a race to 250 when noone has a main account at max level yet?
Does anyone realise that there's thousands of accounts trapped on dead worlds that open year upon year upon year, to be forgotten about when the next world opens?
They'll keep opening worlds, keep killing your old worlds and keep wasting your time if you keep joining new worlds that we as a player-base simply can't support...
We used to have to open 2 worlds at a time, there were that many players... Now the newest world has a smaller player-base than one that opened in 2011 - the previous world before that is already in, what I would consider, an emergency situation with a lack of active accounts.
Why not just have a world that re-sets every DotD, instead of opening new ones and losing half the playerbase of the previous world?
Why not just have a world that we can migrate characters from dead worlds into, to try and make a new vibrant fort world with all the dead accounts?
