Hello all,
since most off the rules made by Inno are anti duellers, It's extremely hard to enjoy this part off the game. I understand that not everyone are keen to participate on duelling in this game, which is perfectly fine with me, but there is not reason to penalise those who want. For this reason, I propose a few changes that could at least a little straighten out the rules for duellers.
1. Duelling lvl system
Currently, if you want to focus on duels, you are quickly force to duel only high lvl players due to dueling lvl system. But since damage and attribute/skill points are tied to exp. lvl, it is almost impossible to compete whit those players. As a result, only non-dueling players (with drop/exp./work sets etc.) became an option for dulling. It could be changed If the weapon damage and skill/attribute points in duels would've been based on the duelling lvl. So that in the duel between players with same duelling lvl and same sets lvl will be chances to win for both players approximately equal, regardless of actual exp. lvl.
2. Def. vs Off. duellers
The other inequality I see in duels between def. duellers (attribute distribution focus on reflex/toughness) and off. duellers (attribute distribution focus on shooting/vigor). Since there is unlimited damage reduction coming from resistance attribute points, there is no chance to win duel as an off. dueller. It would be fair, If this reduction of damage will be limited for example to 50% of max., so the chance to win, would be for both players same.
Thank you in advance for any opinion on the given issue and I hope that we will be able to push through some changes that will allow us all to enjoy this game to the fullest.
