Feedback Left out of Awesomia?

thanks for the goodwill but other than the hearts offered as reward to each player from awesomia, we aslo get more hearts by the number of players joined. 2nd stage is not going to meet that fully played first awesomia, any compensation for that also? if you find a place in a full of players awesomia you will get 3240 hearts, right? seems this only works for non event currency awrding awesomia only.

It depends on the player count. For example the last battle had 270 more registrations than the limits allowed to participate (300vs250). That number of players can make almost full the next battle.

With this policy in place, we may see even more registrations. In the past, some players became discouraged after missing several times and stopped trying to join. Now, this may change, as anyone who misses a battle will be guaranteed a place in the next one.

We believe that even receiving only half of the event currency, along with the guaranteed event reward and some bonds, is still worthwhile. Please keep in mind that you will also have the opportunity to join the next battle. However, with the ranking option, you are guaranteed to miss one battle.

Thank you for addressing an issue i have been talking about quite often, last time: https://forum.the-west.net/index.ph...initiative-feedback.61629/page-14#post-811741

If you allow me the suggestion, I would suggest an alternative to do 2 battles on colo, for example Awesomia at 20h ST and a 2nd battle that starts on another large fort at 21h ST, everyone who misses out has 1h to move, just merely with the argument I believe this could represent less burden to the team.

I initially thought the same, but that would require us to own a fort, and we do not want to take any forts permanently. In addition, the rewards are reserved for the Awesomia, and we want to avoid creating any confusion.

When possible, we will try to organize one battle on Friday or Saturday, and the second on Sunday, if this helps accommodate more participants. Time will tell if players can join the missed battle during the week. But we also want to make sure there is enough time to subscribe to the second battle.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding this but the logic seems flawed to me.

You state
  • Registration may be closed 5 minutes to 6 hours before the battle, if we see oversubscription.
  • In cases of heavy oversubscription, registration may close even earlier, but never more than 24 hours before the battle begins.
I am not sure what 'heavy oversubscription' means 20%, 50% or ... but if you prevent people signing up then they are not eligible for the additional awesomia ff per your rule
  • Players who have not subscribed to the original battle, cannot join and cannot submit a ticket to request this.
Please clarify and I apologize if it is me being stupid: "again" some would say no doubt!

This line is more reserved for when we are unable to be online 6h before the battle. However, it is unlikely that we will close sooner, it will really happen only for limited staff availability and if we see like a 100% or more oversubscription, so a second full battle is guaranteed. Also, last time we had like 80% oversubscription 24h before the battle, and we gained only around 20% more in the next 24 hours. To be completely safe, the sooner you join, the better.

The announcement regarding the additional fort battle has been published. The affected players are now able to register for the fort battle. :boone:

i did not get in for first battle but when i went to report couldnt, i cannot sign up for this overflow fight

They just said what you need to do, open a ticket and submit your report that you were left out and you are not on the current list of players that can join this battle.

u just give reward to all who didnt get in, and dont do this nonsence
I don't agree with this. You shouldn't reward laziness. All they have to do is register in time. I think the team expects a little effort from the players too.

Some of them don't even bother reading instructions as you can see above.

I am an afected player and i can't register to battle, i am not at guest list...
This applies only for those who missed the Awesomia on on Feb. 22 at 20:30 ST. If that is the case, please submit a ticket, with the report which proves that you have missed this battle.

Awesomia rewards are given for active participation in battles. Please note that participation is optional, and we are not obligated to organize these battles or to offer additional battles for players who miss them. We make extra efforts to ensure that as many players as possible can participate. Organizing these battles takes several minutes, and the tool and workflow that make them possible required many hours to design it. In comparison, joining a second battle takes only a few seconds. We believe this is a small effort in exchange for the rewards provided for those who wish to play on such FFs.
