Is the zombie set worth buying right now?

Hello! From what I've been told by another player, the Zombie set is currently the best-in-slot gear for ranged duelling.

Do you think it's likely to remain the best choice for the foreseeable future, or is there a chance a new set in the next event could surpass it?

I'm only asking because I'm new to the game. I'm hoping to make some good money selling items from the current event, but I don't want to spend it all on the Zombie set if a stronger set might be just around the corner.

you can have zombie again during xmas as the boxes return during that time of the year, for in-game dolars

zombie is the upgrade for pearl, who has been launched on 2021, taking 4 years for them to come with something equal but stronger

so yes, along with knox zombie will be the best in slot for years to come

i'd buy a full set now and upgrade to ^1 or ^2 during the xmas boxes

To me I wish it had more experience as I usually duel mostly for experience.

So at Christmas, I can buy the entire set for in-game currency? Not a chance situation like this current event?

Will the same be true of items in this event like the Knox set or only for older released sets?

Yes for knox, there will also be bags with random gear from the given year(if sets were in 2025, it would be christmas bag 2025 for example) etc.

Only day of the dead of the current year won't be available usually.

If I recall correctly the boxes at Christmas are not for the individual sets, but will include event boxes which may contain any of the sets from this years event [other than the day of the dead sets]. So you may have to buy several or many or just one to get the set you want. And they can be expensive, available in nuggets or game dollars, not bonds as they cost more than you can have bonds. The yearly bags can be gotten with bonds, but again, the odds do not favor you getting exacty what you hoped for.

This is how the event is, you see the prices both for bonds and in game money. Then next to it the bonds for the small bags that contain one part of any set from that specific year

So you could find the Zombie set on the first try or it could take multiple ones. Prices on that event drop a lot on market so it could be wise to wait 1-2 days and see how much the set parts go on the marker and buy it cheaper. But yeah, zombie is still the best set for long range-attacks
