Hidden Stats

Proposal
My proposal is that the toughness and reflex stats should be hidden on the skill leader boards.

Current Workaround
There really is no workaround. If you are a high level dueler, you're resistance stats will be displayed in the top 10 if you know what you're doing. This is plainly visible to opponents who can then exploit this knowledge.

Details
Reflex and toughness are key and essential stats when it comes to resistance dueling. One of the weaknesses of melee dueling is that our range counterparts can see our reflex and toughness values. In turn, they can then adjust their gear, attribute points, and skill points to get "just the right amount" of shooting to beat the resistance. They can know for a fact that their shooting can break the resistance.

Range duelers are mostly dodge and aim duelers. Dodge and aim are both hidden stats on the leader boards because it would be counter productive for other duelers to see the aim and dodge of their opponents. The dueler class is built on the fact that they have the ability to see their opponents AP/SP distribution.

So for melee duelers, let's do the same and hide the reflex and toughness stats.

Abuse Prevention
There is no possible abuse for this.

Summary
This will help to even the playing field between melee and range. Range is currently the more preferred dueling method because the dodge and aim stats are hidden for the protection of the duelers and to keep the opponent guessing. If toughness and reflex were hidden, this would also keep opponents guessing for melee resistance duelers rather than going up against an opponent who knows exactly what they need to beat you. This suggestion will help dueling be more competitive between classes and preference.

Good idea. It should expand to include shooting and vigor too, but like you'll see from this thread where it was suggested a few months ago, it's futile to suggest game changes in these forums at the moment. Unless you want a glomp set, naturally.

The Glomp set will become a reality sooner than you think lulu ;)
