Help a Noob Adventurer

DeletedUser

Hello, I'm a complete noob so please be gentle. I have read several guides and such but I am still somewhat confused. I selected Adventurer class but have no idea where I should be assigning the AP/SP.

My main goal is to do the quests and make a little $$. I'm not looking to be dueler.

Here is a run down of my current skills:
Strength 2
construction 2
vigor 4
toughness 3
stamina 5
health 3

Mobility 2
hbr 2
reflex 2
dodging 2
hiding 2
swimming 3

Dexterity 3
aim 3
shooting 3
trap 6
fine motor sk 6
repairing 4

Charisma 4
leadership 4
tactics 4
trading 4
animal instincts 4
appearance 4

I have 3 unassigned AP and 28 unassigned SP
Where should I put them?

Also, I'm stuck on the quest requiring me to acquire a donkey. I'm poor and wanted to know if there was a way to obtain the donkey without having to buy it (ie a certain job that I might get lucky and have a donkey dropped from heaven like manna)

Thanks for reading and your input is much appreciated.

MsFox, you spread your skills too much. Doing that you'll open many jobs - with low XP and money. That is not good, you need XP to level up and get more skillpoints.
You should concentrate on one or two skills and pump only those. Later (let's say level 40 or 50) you can choose what path to take next. ;)

Which skills should I focus on? I saw some suggestions in another thread leaning towards trapping and hiding....
And I'm thinking AP should probably be dex/charisma?

I purposefully didn't assign most of the SP until I have some understanding as to what would be best long term.

Sorry if I'm being noobish. If all else fails I'll just play around with it. Worst case senario I'll have to go premium and use the shaman.

trapping or hiding is definetly a good choice as a starting point. pick any of them.
since you're an adventurer, I suggest you pick the charisma as ability, because of a certain job later - but I won't post a spoiler, you'll see yourself. ;)

Also make sure you use those two sites Desi posted, they're essential.

And please don't say sorry, we were all newbies once. ;)

At the risk of being controversial, I would say don't worry too much about it.
If you're interested in completing quests then you will probably benefit from a balanced build. By specialising you will create quest bottlenecks because you won't be well specced for some jobs that need doing. You will get access to the shaman anyway even without premium as you progress. I would advise you to look at the jobs you need to do and just build to open them up as soon as you can.

Trappin is the way to go i make $500 from beaver hunt at lvl 48 and i have found some great items but now im reskilling towards being a dueler. Also with an adventurer you are rich and make more money than everyone else :)
