Howdy Cowboys and Cowgirls!
It is our pleasure to announce that The West has turned an unbelievable 10 years old! This is a very special occasion, because not many games manage to exist over such a long period of time. We owe this to you, the players, who made this game great and have been loyal to it all this time, even in the difficult times of game bugs and other problems. That's why we want to say THANK YOU to all of you!
How did it all start? In the modern world, an idea sparked that would take InnoGames back to the old days of the Wild West! Something different, something new! The three friends who decided to create the hugely successful game, Tribal Wars, were not done with developing new ideas which came to their minds while they were playing, watching Bud Spencer movies and drinking beer. They drew from a variety of material and sources for ideas, from watching classic Western movies and reading novels at night, which was then followed by hard work in the morning. And so the very first quests in our highly evolved quest system were construed. The West was developed. Players quickly flocked in to explore the new lands, taking on different jobs all over the map and fighting some bad villains to keep the prairie safe.
To get us started, we've put together a small video for the occasion.
Thank you all for making The West what it is today, and we hope you enjoy the celebrations! For the remainder of April 30th, we hope you'll join us as we celebrate 10 great years with a look through history, celebratory artwork and a community contest! There will of course also be a possibility to show off the skills you've honed over the years in a brand new questline, starting on the May 7th!
Classic server:
We will run the classic version of The West again from April 30th to June 5th.

Questline:
During the last ten years, our friends in Henry's saloon met many adventures and heard plenty of thrilling tales. But was that all? No! Henry has something peculiar he has never told anyone about. Visit him, find out and experience another exciting adventure in the trails of the most mysterious stories and most closely guarded secrets of The West.
This questline is dedicated to the 10th birthday and consists out of 15 single quests for all players who have reached level 20 and completed the questline "Save the saloon, part 2". It will be available from 11:00 AM on May, 7th.
Be aware: This questline is not easy and will challenge you. Only true veterans of The West will be able to solve its riddles and finally gain enlightenment. Feel free to work together and share your progress, because only then will you have a chance. Good luck!
