Golden Weapon Set

The Golden Weapon Set as we all know is pretty much to no use compared to sets made available in the past few years. It takes quite a bit of work to get the entire set and the Shiny variation of it, also useless nowadays, also takes immense effort to get it to that status. Any thoughts from other players surrounding the Golden & Shiny Golden Weapon sets? I may have missed past posts but a search reveals none.

I agree, it's time to release the Very Shiny Golden Weapon set!

never got around to getting all the shiny gold weapons since it didn't seem worth the bother.
So can't upgrade what I don't have for "very' shiny ones

When the Big Update was released, it was teased that they would release the upgrade to shiny weapons at some point.

I have posted on this for 2 years. I even wrote and posted a quest for obtaining the ENGRAVED SHINY GOLDEN COLT/SWORD/GUN. My thinking is that the devs are more interested in having us buy nuggets to obtain buffs and gear, than writting a quest that would be popular. I remember when the GOlden Colt quest was introduced. It was a rule violation to share the quest solution with others. It took about 3 months to work out the steps.

Have asked for this too several times. That set should be the best set in the game,
always, so should get updated monthly (after release of new sets).
Same with that Holidays Set, which likewise needs a lot of in-game effort.
Alas, they prefer the best set to be one you can buy for gold..
