Galveston and Houston worlds not joinable?

Hello, when I log in and go to the list of game worlds to join, all of them appear except for Galveston and Houston. Why is this? Have these two worlds been deleted?

Thanks for the answer. That's a shame, I used to be on one of them years ago and had a good time.

If you can remember your login, and didn't fully delete your character when you left, you should still be able to login, get reinstated, and then take part in the migration. If I read it correctly, only NEW registrations are impossible.

Unfortunately I'd deleted my old character, as I'd lost access to the old email account associated with it. I wonder why they decided to stop registrations on these two worlds? The link above doesn't provide an explanation.

The explanation was in the post, they opened the worlds to migration out of them.

As I understand it, if enough migrate out, the worlds could be up for closing entirely, but that is probably in 3-5 years.

Really the worlds were mostly deadish, so even if they were still open not sure they would have been places to restart from, as one just mostly had dueling, no fort battles, and couldn't even finish quests that required crafted goods most of the time.

Yes but I meant they didn't give any reason why they wanted players to migrate out of those worlds.

Ah, fair enough. Well that seems to be the same situation in a few other worlds (like El Dorado) ... I wonder if they should try to minimise the number of worlds existing and just lump all active players together in two or three, that might be better...
