New Forum search & equipment probs

Hiya!

Two things, please:
- The forum search page https://forum.the-west.net/search.php seems not to exist?
- I am not able anymore to change my equipment. From today started receiving error messages: "You are currently wearing invalid items!", "You need this item for one of your work assignments." But I can't see a proper reason for either one.

The search feature only works when you are logged in. Could be just that. Try and see? Some radical equipment changes can not occur if you are doing a job at the time. Once your job is over you should be able to change anything you like. I'm not sure about invalid items. I don't recall that message. Perhaps another member can clarify.

The equipment issue indeed seems to be solved as you say, after completion of a longish job. Funny, never happened before to me.

But alas, the other matter:

Yeah with that link me too. You can just use the search at the top-right on the page. I put in a word "craft" and it worked.

Sounds to me you are queuing a job that is above your level which results in your gear getting locked.

We can do jobs higher than our current level if our labor points allow it. If our gear is locked while doing a job we will get the message "You need this item for one of your work assignments." correct?

That happens to me when I need the labor points from the item in question. Has to do with what you equipped to do the job originally so wait until job is done and you should be able to switch out your equipment. Hope this helps.

It also has happened when wearing brand-new items and trying to switch over to recomennded for job items, but only at first.)
