Feedback Fort Battle Cap Changes

Any chance we get uncapped fort battles in awesomnia in colorado or will it crash the server? Im pretty sure many do get left out over there.
From my understanding, unfortunately, the caps can't be increased beyond 265. You're right though, it does suck to see so many players left out due to the battle being that filled. #JustColoradoProblems

Why would it need to be uncapped ? just get signed up early and be there early or get left out ... . Its been that way since there was a 30000 player population, basically forever, thats the way it was hard coded so unlucky ... used to not even see any vacant square in def or attack, was packed to the max and still capped. now its 3000 population and just a bit over full so hardly that many getting left out compared.... #JustWhiningColorado :lol:

I havent been in a full awesomia for long time but I always thought that the fort has special settings with bigger caps. Noob me I guess :-D

I guess so, nooby you lol :'P.. naaa its just funny to me is all .. About 3 mths in when forts popularity went off the scale the team looked at the max and quickly raised it from 120 to the max 140 att v 125 def ... then spent the next year or so begging HQ to do something more cos of the meltdowns players were having and leaders were getting very very pooped off when they had hundreds left out every FF let alone an Awesomnia ( which didn't even exist & wouldn't for a few years yet ) .. Originally it was just large forts we used ... solution ? have more FF at the same time.. ie multis and the uber alliances then loved it and so did the players cos they got a FF.. Just to be crystal clear, multis were originally started by players as an arranged solution to not enough spaces for the massive player base not a tactic. Its only later they became a strategic part of the Uber Alliance wars as things evolved and it was glorious to behold :up:

Heres the kicker ... it was years before the centre sector was added and Awesomnia .. despite the teams from many servers then hugely popular and award winning.. ya think Inno listened and made the centre fort massive or more flexible to accommodate events and the demand of the then 30k + player per world player base ? .. ofc not ... they had literally years and did nothing. No other reason than pure neglect and indifference to just adding a few lines when it was possible on the original code .... and it was possible once, I know that for a fact. V2 meant its never gonna change so its forever capped as it is.. best sign up early now you know :cooln:

Maybe the huge battles I remember weren't that huge. I always thought i fought in some 250 vs 250 uber battles back in the day when the server sizes were 10k+ of active players with no multi accounts. This whole battle cap changes thread got me confused.

This is exactly what I have always thought :lol:. Because on the worlds I play now awesomia doesn't overfill.
