Has anyone else seen the prizes reset all the way back like this? Said I had one win to go to get this and it reset to 50...

you lost a bandit duel and didn't bribe, your winning streak was reset. it's the same for almost all the events. that's why you should always have 480 extra eggs before intiating a duel.
as the event announcement says (https://forum.the-west.net/index.php?threads/easter-showdown-2018.57653/):
"At the end of the event, the player with the longest winning streak against the bandits will receive the special weapon set. Please note, only one set will be provided to one player on a world even if there is a tie for 1st place. This set is not available to players on closed worlds.
You can track your current rank at the bottom of the window, as well as seeing the level of the person in first place. If you lose a duel it is possible to save your winning streak by bribing the bandit, otherwise your current streak will be reset to zero."
