E3 2012

A big event happened this month :). The world's premier trade show for computer and video games and related products. Lots of people bring lots of games and it's awesome. :)
I haven't seen a game related topic in here for a while so I though this was a good occasion.
There will be some good games released.

I am going to start with two xbox only games.

Forza Horizon
demo - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=co5S4MsKhek
Halo 4
gameplay - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWWzhpjS62I&feature=relmfu
Not going to say much about them. Don't have an xbox so I'll just play ignorant :) (they do look good tbh). Anyway, the franchises are very well known.

ps3 only games

The Last of Us. The action takes place 20 years after an apocalyptic event (virus). People now live in quarantine zones. Eventualy supplies run low, people freak out and all hell breakes loose. Story actualy picks up in one of the last quarantine zones. Less Fallout, and more the Road... even though it's an action adventure. I like it.

Beyond: Two Souls
The accent in this game is put on the script and not so much on the gameplay and other video game related aspects. It's an interactive drama that lets the player take Jodie Holmes (the mai character ) through 15 year of her life. Producer noted that players might be able to find out "what lies beyond" after playing the game. Supernatural stuff.
trailer - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M48SZn83sPY

Lots more on ps3 but I'm going to end here.

FarCry 3, the brand new open world fps. My favorite game from them all.
It takes place on some tropical islands found somewhere at the intersection of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. You need to escape from them.

"Have I told you the definition of insanity?"

Watch Dogs
trailer - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1U8KsQPIrY0
gameplay - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcMRkyoHKeA
At the first look it's.... friggin amazing. It's from the same guys that made Far Cry. Hacking and surveillance are the main thing here. "The storyline of Watch Dogs is built around the concept of information warfare, data being interconnected, and the world's increasing use of technology—questioning who exactly runs the computers they depend on. The game will follow an anti-hero named Aiden Pearce, a highly skilled hacker described as a person who uses both <fists and wits.>"

Need for Speed Most Wanted 2
Most Wanted was a big hit. If this game follows the path that NFS game took lately it will such *@#$!.

gameplay&trailer - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=le8RfO82Yvk
The problem is that it's made by Criterion and they'r not big on storyline.Plus, I don't see much car customization in the gameplay. Most Wanted concept is great but I think that what evereybody actually wanted was Underground 3.

Skyrim Dawnguard DLC
gameplay - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UEQFp4tzQc
The story of The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard involves the return of a Volkihar vampire lord named Harkon, who seeks to end the tyranny of the sun. Harkon intends to use the power in the ancient Elder Scrolls to accomplish his goal, while an order of vampire hunters known as the Dawnguard seek to stop him .
The Dragonborn is given the option either join the Dawnguard and help defeat Harkon or join forces with the Volkihar vampires.
Not such a big fan of Skyrim. I'm all oldies but goddies.

That's it for now. Maybe I'll put some more.
Oh, there's also this.

The Skyrim Dawnguard expansion looks good. Add some of the other community developed content and it will be a nice addition.

Halo has always done well with storyline, and that is what keeps me interested in that game, not the mmo feature.

Just saw the preview for The Last of Us. Intense. If the gameplay is like that, it will definitely be a winner for playability.

Beyond Two Souls seems to have some excellent facial graphics (weak body mechanics though). Otherwise, the storyline seems interesting and I may check it out just to experience that (love good storylines in games).

There's nothing that could make me come back to Skyrim, I really over did it with 350 hours plus on three chars (one of those being 280 hours). I've seen everything it has to offer, no other quest line could draw me back.

hehe, you overplayed Skyrim aye? If you played it on a PC, there's some excellent game content that completely changes the intensity, color, graphics, creatures, and overall playability of that game.

Ok, already got an ideea of what games to add. Later this day I'll add some more.

Let's keep going.

available for 360 and ps3.

Injustice: Gods Among Us
Just a plain fighting game but it you can play heroes from DC Universe. Oh and it's released by the guys who made Mortal Kombat.
trailer - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMkTQSbE6Bc
gamaplay - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClsHDVFmNi0

DMC Devil May Cry
gameplay - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zS3qsOSkR9M

Guardians of Middle-Earth
This will be available on anything except pc. They wanted to bring DOTA to the consoles and this is what they made. LOTR fans aren't happy.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0xRg5w-AN0

pc
The Secret World
This could be a great game. It's an mmorpg with no levels or classes, the character building is skill based. The vidoe says it all.Overall, I like it.
gameplay - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIr4t5zX9Aohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zS3qsOSkR9M

Counter Strike: Global Offensive
I'm a big fan of Counter Strike. I play mainly 1.6, I don't like the way they went with CS:S. Counter Strike took the storyline and wiped it's *&# with it. What's left is a game that officialy doesn't have single player. The game is all about building reflexes and controlling the recoil to own the other team.
trailer - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnZ8uj0kuXI
gameplay - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiWiTqhuanc

Company of Heroes 2
I thought this is worth mentioning since Company of Heroes is a nice game. Couldn't find a gameplay.
trailer - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5j0cBqhm3A
interview - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppn21bVSm5Y

This wasn't at the E3 but I couldn't leave it unmentioned.
Dota 2
DOTA has made people go crazy, so they decided to make DOTA 2. It will be free to play.
gameplay - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADfYO8mUtYE
love the comentators, they should do soccer.

Wanted to add more, but they are just a lot of MMORPG's and the rest... not that good.

oh and.. actual full games list http://e3.gamespot.com/games.html?platform=1028&sort=followCount

Some new gameplay of Beyond:Two Souls (worth seing). This will come out in October.
Textures look a bit weird... but it might just be a alpha release. It's story drive and with great animations. I really think this will be an amazing release.

Both Halo 4 and Foraz Horizon 4 have been release last year.
Far Cry 3, , Skyrim DLC, DMC, Secret World, Company of Heroes have been release and are worth looking into.
NFS MW, CS:GO also released but only should be tried if your into those genres.
Dota 2 is pretty much available to everyone. If you still dont have an invite I can give you one or you can google "dota 2 invite bot" and it'll give you one.
That's all folks!
