Cracked Egg Drop

So I got the first Cracked Egg to drop but it didn't have a puzzle piece in it. I have the other three pieces of the puzzle, 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

Do I just keep spamming the the three wood jobs until I get another Cracked Egg or what?

I don't know, but that sounds like a potential bug; I'd suggest filing a support ticket.
