The only time I get anything approaching a good Calzone (since the one time I went to Sicily) is when I've gone on holiday to Corsica. Being semi-Italian and semi-French has meant that they have a cuisine that's pretty much the best of both.

I'll argue the best of the best thing for at least some stuff, Cajuns have kind of a monopoly on throwing whatever into a pot and making it taste GREAT.
