You can when its parked, though you have to run really quickly afterwards. Those USAF guys get rather touchy about people hitting their planes

Don't get too many Air Force guys in the middle of the ocean. It's all F-18s and E-2s for me. Though they really don't like it when you even touch their planes. Which is fine. It's easy to avoid them if you stay down in the plants.

These planes were designed to fly from a carrier. It's not that easy to get any old plane to launch from a carrier or land one on a carrier. It's just too small.
