Well considering that some players have being playing this game for the last five years (Myself included), getting to level 150 will be, for me, a honorable challenge.

The last online game I got involved in had a cap of level 1000. Online games seem to be adopting a new strategy with levels now, having it taking years to actually complete. This allows the developing company to add throughout a player's gaming life without having to concern themselves with a level problem. Having it so high gives them a lot of space to work with.

But then again, when players reach level 150, give it a year and they want it raised again. Same issue with the level 99 cap.

I am fine with it taking a while to reach 150 IF the next event does not come out with gear higher than level 120 required. I try to own one of everything but not going to break the bank to buy items level 130 up that I can't use for 6 plus months. I'm sure all of that has been taken into account and noted and i'm sure reflected, but it is a concern to players right now. Also, if these new items are added to premium chests, as I assume they will be, I'd expect a decrease in sales. Items like John Adams pants are great, but set bonuses will surpass them at some point. Being level 150, they are no real use to most of us for a while and if they are added to the collectors set from the start then may God help our collecting souls. Plus Howdah and GT are still great, but 1500 nugs a pop over and over trying when the gap is decreasing in their power with items like the Chief Gall's tomahawk etc... Once again, I'm sure all of this has already been thought over by developers, just concerns of players

There should also be added time to Fort battles and more people should get in, because when this update comes we can see fort fighters with 18.5k hp and it will take some time to kill them in fort battle, and with this update low lvl players will have less chance's to get in fort battles and non pure fort fighters will have even more trouble in fort fights against pure FF'rs than before. Also pure duelers who dont have lvl 120 character but have higher dueling lvl, they will have alot of trouble dueling players with lvls over 120 because of the new gears and more ap and sp. I think its nice that there will be a lvl raise cap but i dont think its good to introduce the new items yet, because we just had the new items introduced not long ago. Plus looking at Anny's formula i dont want to spend that time just sitting here and spending this much time, and for players who dont have winter gear and dont have chewing tobaccos to keep mot. up will have even harder time lvling up with the new exp requirement. Some if not a decent amount of players will leave this game because of this. I know inno wont listen to us about this, because they just want to make money and with this update the money will keep coming to inno prabably even more than before the update because nugget users will buy energy refils to continue to lvl up and soap water which will keep the mot. up.

Being a collector isn't an official profession in this game, you have chosen this route to own every item which most you don't even use or haven't even equipped. You are inadvertently hurting your own bank by purchasing items you are not using. Just imagine how much cash you would have to use on new gear that would actually help your character if you didn't buy all those rear items that you won't even use. And by this, I don't mean items that are needed for achievements but even so, those items can be sold again once it has been equipped.

The new gear will have level requirements on them, these to compensate for the level cap raise.

I've been collecting items too, for what reason, I don't even know.

i collect cause its something to do and otherwise cash piles up. more of a chosen alternate route once I hit 120 with nothing more to do. Level cap will decrease that urge certainly. New items for shops and from drops and chests, of course they will have level requirements, I'm fine with that and slowly collecting them over time, wouldn't ask for anything different. More my comment about level requirements was towards future Event and Tombola items. As it is, my character on dakota would be around level 125 but if new Event/Shop items come in for a limited time only at level 140 required, I'm not going to spend to to get them knowing that I can't equip for 6 months and a few more events later. So i would hope for the next future event or tombola that the levels required for the gear and sets are not much higher than 120 and that further events levels are gradually raised.

I don't see campaign sets changing as there would be no point for InnoGames to target a small part of the community.

Tombola set items are sitting at level 50 with the exception of weapons which is 80.

But if there is a campaign that would provide any set items for 120+, I doubt it would be a large campaign like a tombola.

Experience points or that experience number used in the ranking screen which is much higher... never quite understood why...

What about us who are over 5 millions exp.. are we gonna be update directly to lvl 130?

DeletedUser35520

also for those of you who do not play beta, do not freak out too bad over 15 sec jobs being nerfed. Yea slows leveling but 10 min and 1 hour still have high exp and cash. Plus, they have been releasing sets that grant bonuses to experience and cash, which help to off set if you choose to use them. As with all things, some sacrifices have to be made, but all agree that the level cap needed to be increased so certainly this is for the greater good

A full bar of 100 energy yields about 6500 exp [130(Construct casinos in full winter gear, +30% exp) x 50 (Considering a lot of chewing tobaccos to keep mot. up)]

So, 6500 exp with a full bar of energy. Now it takes 257 minutes.. or better to say 4 hours 20 minutes approximately to recharge full energy in full regen gear (+40%).

Considering an active player, one who plays round the clock, this total sleep and work event can be be done 5.33 times. (24hrs/4.5hrs (4 hr 20 minutes+10-12 minutes of work)

You're not considering the 10-min wait for chewing tobacco. Only one per ten minutes.

Just to remember everyone about dailly xp is a % just on daily log in bonus you will rise 1 level atleast every 6-7 weeks even if that level requires you 5 million xp, also the current xp numbers are from Beta and remember those numbers can always change!

be happy its not something you can achieve in 2 weeks or months again, also the nerf of 15 second jobs was badly needed since it made ranking way to easy, so thats very good, shame it didnt happened before the new world started but better late then never :)

I would like to mention this paragraph.. cuz am not sure but my experience says that someone can be after 5 active years 120 lvl, max, 7-8m experience points.. so until lvl 150 how years need to reach it? Wouldnt even try to think about it.

It is hard to say how difficult it will be to gain those levels without having the specifics of things like the experience paid out by any new jobs added and how generous or stingy the rewards for any new quests end up being.

I think I have averaged around 95k experience a month if I figure it out correctly, but an averaged value is misleading as I certainly gain more experience per month with my level in the 100's than I did when my level was in the 30's. Of course, I tend to muddle around building my town, crafting, and other endeavors that are not necessarily geared towards leveling.

I'm o.k. if it takes a long time to gain these new extended levels. I just hope there are some new fun quests and crafting options to pass the time while working on them.

We shall see, hopefully things go well in beta, and we can soon see the changes here. :)

quick explanation

lets say your level 149 and got 15 million xp, its then 5 million more xp to level 150 (i got no clue what the exact numbers are but just for the example it doesn;t matter if its 2 or 5 million xp)

the daily log in bonus is: 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%,of the xp needed for the next level

just to add it up 1-2-3-4 = 10% so if you log in 4 days on a row you get 10% of the xp needed for the next level, so if the next level is 5 million xp, you get 500.000 xp in 4 days just from daily log in bonusses. level 120 is i believe 43.000 xp, meaning you currently only get 430 - 1720 xp per day on that daily log in bonus, Thus given daily log in bonus stays the same it takes you 50 days(5th day is nugs\bonds 10%*10=100) to get to the next level no matter how much xp it takes, and thats without you ever doing a job or a duel

secondly there are also 30 new jobs added, and despite that their rewards for 15 seconds like any other job aren't great due to the nerf of 15 second jobs(how big that nerf will be is still on debate on beta it seems) they 1 hour return in xp is on some jobs much better then that of construct a casino\mission or free slaves or performing with good ol' Bill

The change they are implementing is massive it might have some negative sides to it, but overall its looking very good what they are planning to do, however keep in mind that history proven not everything on beta gets eventually implemented like it is on beta, since thats why it is a beta: stuff gets tested and changed if needed

The stores in town will get extra levels. The number 1 town on beta server Alamogordo already has a lvl 15 Tailor, a lvl 19 Gunsmith and a lvl 12 General Store.

thats very good news :)

# i like the sound of most the changes.
# will wait and see how ff changes, i hope it works ok and battles remain fun. (i wish the forts would take some damage in attacks and need to be rebuilt some times).
# i wish something could be done to improve things for duelers before its too late!
# cant wait for MPI to start and the next CTF event
# i would like to see some kind of Indian attacks on towns that we had to defend against. that would be cool.

Yes, there is Lead a trading office job. I've seen reports on beta with 8900$ drops so far.

i got told that as pure trading that job can yield even to 12-13k luck at higher level, to but even swimming gets to be a decent build since there like 5 new jobs that require loads of swimming.

there btw 30 new jobs

also the new gear has their own collection achievements, though they don't give any clothing etc

there 7 new type of guns, all having a rusty, normal, precise and: named version
there 5 new ranged and 5 new melee type of weapons
there 6 new types of neckband = 48 new neckties
7 new type of boots, 8 new type of belts, 5 new types of clothing, 7 new types of hat 5 new types of hat
and 5 new horses

if i quickly count that means 313 new items, but thats assuming every new type of equipment has 8 different colours and every weapon has 4 different ones + 5 horsies(though they forgot to give em speed apparantly)

Also means 47 new named items and abt 256 items obtainable from shops
