Yes only solider/dueler should do well if it is about fighting.
May be it is only me, but I like to be in control of my character when playing game, If I make mistake I pay for the consequences. When I made choice of being builder then I was ready to loose the duels but decided to be a better builder (similarly with making choice of duelers/solider).
Now a patch (not new world) is released, which tells me that the ppl who did not place their skills properly will get benefit in fort battle, is kind of disappointing.
And it is fair to rest of community as they made their own choice.
It is similar to releasing a patch say "Grand market" where you can buy/sell items on bargain prices and higher your
skill1, better deal you get. And what that skill1 is "Aim"!! Does that make sense, a trader should certainly whine about it. Skill should be trading not Aim.
Yes I should certainly not whine about it, if it was released in new world, where you start a fresh and know pros and cons of placing skills in leadership/hiding/stamina.
Dev should not be casual about releasing patch with new features in exiting world. Lot of player spend significant amount of time with this game (I ve spent 5 months in developing one character & I am sure there are many who spent more time),not to find that you need to change your skills.
OK may be this game is meant to be like this "the world has changed, you are old now, your riding skills are irrelevant, because we have invented bikes"
Still I want to complain like old whiny man *sigh* "good old time "
BTW I m just talking about the game design, not specifically about advantage/disadvantage related to my character
