Well, I was having a little fun with the Avatar Generator and figured I would try my hand at recreating some iconic characters:

Your Rooster Cogburn looks more like Jeff Bridges IMO. I think this is a great idea for a contest.

Haha, oh this is great. I agree Elmyr, that this is a good contest concept.

Hell, the Jeremiah Johnson one is outstanding. Love it!

Yeah, that one jumped out at me too. I think it does look the most like the person it's supposed to.

It's not easy, because the features are so limited. One big thing that was left out is different face shapes, which removes a lot of the potential of customizing your avatar. Costumes are also limited, like the fact that there are two military uniforms but no hats to go with them. Another glaring omission I noticed when doing Cody's avatar was buckskin.

Yep, but the nice thing is, they can add "more" clothing, eye-types, mouth-types, accessories, etc. Oh, and the buckskin exists for women, so there's that:



Anyway, we could encourage the artists at Innogames to make more of these avatar additions, via the JIRA. ;)

Aye Black, that sounds like a pretty good idea. I'm thinking the pics should be sent via PM to the contest manager, so they are not seen by the public until the Poll opens up. :)
