making sure
to have the right gun.

the endless first round
wishing each other luck
when we know
we will need it to survive.
suddenly
the bullets fly
we start taking damage
fracking duelers and their crits
hiding deep in the pile
trying to keep LOS
maneuvering
jostling
the order is MOUNT
and we jump
into towers
and onto walls
Firing desperately
trying to clear the way
blocked, we bleed
then the way is clear
and we run
scrambling
behind
over
around buildings
flinging ourselves onto the flag
all we need is 5 rounds
5 infinitely long rounds
dying
so someone can take our place
standing in the bloody mud
around a splintered pole
to claim the fort
