Bit late but they are dug for the weekend. :-)) Only exceptions are El Dorado, Las Vegas & Montana because they have player dug Awesomia battles. Those 3 worlds will have their battle dug later.

We will also make sure to dig a second Awesomia battle with tokens before the end of the event.
I had no idea you would dig awesomias now. Can you delay Montana to the 26th so it has more time between your dig and the battle?

We can move the battle from 25th to 26th but it would be either 20:15/8:15PM or 23:45/11:45PM.

When I dig the battles I tend to keep half an hour in between all battles because of players that play in multiple worlds.

Attacks really need some incentive to get players to join attack side.

On some of these worlds noone joins attack which causes a snowball effect - noone wants o join attacking side because they are too few and noone wants to die

It is too easy to just collect the reward and then go on about your regular gameplay

Thats very relative. Colorado had 190 sign ups in attack and 90 defenders. But yes in the other worlds, the dead worlds, like Navajo, its the opposite. Montana had 19 attackers and 24 defenders.

In the past we have used "Attacker/Defender bonuses" so it is something we can try again.
Unfortunately the mechanisms for rewarding it can be a heavy lift on the admin side, and it hasn't been especially successful at achieving the goals so it isn't a tool we are inclined to use often, but we'll give it a go on a few worlds where we find it promising.

I am somewhat amused Awesomia was transferred to my town's ownership so Henry could attack it, but we stand ready to defend!

Still up for battles after all the Independence day celebrations? Time to work some of that food off! Here is the next round of Awesomia battles. Depending on the amount of signups, join restrictions might be applied.

The reward for participating is 1 x 1500 Fireworks (2620000)
We want more Fireworks.

Sorry to ask the same but no battle for this weekend or beginning of the next week ?

Also, for the last battles it was written : "Depending on the amount of signups, join restrictions might be applied." but in Kansas we were 29 def vs 7 att. Were there no join restrictions in the end or were there some but we didn't fulfill the requirements to have some ?

Thanks for the battles and fireworks by the way.

"On worlds where there are no regular battles they count on these to help with fireworks collections." -> Exactly !

Especially knowing in events like independence with fireworks to gather, the low attendance makes it unworth to dig : we can win as much or more while jobbing during that time, and this without having to spend HP/energy buffs, time at the hotel/barracks or stuck at the fort before the battle starts.
So even if there were players ready to dig when needed, in inactive worlds we are penalised if we dig compared to if we don't (regarding fireworks). Especially tanks. And compared to worlds with good attendance and daily battles, we can win much less fireworks in total than in this kind of worlds. Awesomia battles with extra fireworks are a good help to make it a bit easier.

Next round comes on Tuesday. We will make sure to get in another round before the end of the event but I can't see 3 more happening.

while I understand that Colorado overfills an event fort, making two fights needed. I do not feel that splitting the fireworks between the fights is 'fair' to those that may only get in one of the fights. Sure those that make it into both fights get the full amount, but it would be nice if a better system was in place for those that miss the first fight. And for those that made it in, they need the second fight too, to get the proper reward.
