The sweet bread has been around for a very long time and while not much is known about its origin, the roots are definitely Swedish (thus the name). It is believed that the bread essentially started as Christmas preparation and was a part of the grand Swedish Christmas feast. Different people re-tell and believe different stories about the origin of the Swedish Tea Ring and there is no single definite tale.

Spain where it is known as "Roscón de Reyes" aka "King's Cake". However, Spain is not the country that is attributed to the origin of this sweet bread ring or the only country that partakes in this tradition.
"It is believed that the present tradition started in 14th-century France, but it became deeply rooted in Spain, eventually reaching Latin America, namely Mexico, Argentina, and Uruguay. The cake appears under various names throughout Spain, southern France, Portugal, and Latin America"

Howdy Cowboys and Cowgirls,

The evaluation of game 9 is complete

Answer: Spain have a tradition of serving this christmas cake known as Roscón de Reyes on January 6, during celebrations of Día de reyes (Kings’ Day), to commemorate the arrival of the 3 Wise Men.
There’s usually a baby Jesus figurine (or a dry fava bean to represent him) stuffed inside the cake, and the lucky person who finds it gets to buy the following year’s roscón.
