Why it is devs make us go to the middle of the square ( maybe 30minutes of travelling) to do just a simple quest?

Because that job was ment for fresh start (8 XP for 2 mins of work, means you level up a few times after you've just started playing on some world) and you obviously forgot that as a greenhorn you have abnormal speed bonus.

Ahlong you are most likely only gonna do that job this one time and then never again,it's better to only have 1 square of it and it being a little inconvenient just 1 time rather than having a worthless square everywhere long after you never want to see that job again.

And unless it's a bug doing that job for 2 minutes drain 24 energy, just like doing any other job for a full hour [or two on non-premium worlds]... so there is really no reason for doing that job after this quest.
