I have old pictures in Colorado and Dakota those i got by support ticket (don't try they no longer change)
i requested (begged) the mods to change it
luckily i got them and later i got whispers and messages how i got that
soo many people missing old pictures
so YES from me for this idea

I did wonder about this. I do remember selecting an avatar that I liked, then I restarted and was stuck with a generic avatar. I was beginning to think I'd imagined it.
