*Yea, i still quit. Decided to check what happened with this thread just because.*

First off, this was my first version of this guide and it was a little off, so quit hating. I planned on updating this quite a bit and already had it mostly done when i quit the game. It's pretty simple though guys, just follow the formulas and find a balance of skills that works for you. I'll assume that everyone getting golden rifles by now (just like the silly dueling weapons *sigh*) so health will be more important. Just be prepared to adapt your builds to changing times and deal with it.

So grow up a little, make some progress instead of battling each other or insulting my work and poor mathematical skill. (Guess what? I am a child, excuse my ignorance and stupidity ;P)

This guide still has usefulness, use it any way you wish. =)

yes I like this guide although I haven't yet tested in practise. Would have been my answer if it was available.

my only problem with the current make-up is that it does not allow a player for example to max out hiding and mobility and then have the best dodging skill (As a large percentage of players will do after .30 update). I calculate he will get at max +8 dodging. After all top end jobs like transport alcohol ,break up gangs ,construct casino ,construct mission etc etc require massive skills in a particular skill. So again there is this balancing act should I cut out these jobs and advance slower through levels get less items get less money or should I concentrate on fort fights which is at most once a day and doesnt reward me consistently. For example there is a few fort fights where I was number 1 in a category or last man standing and got zilch.

Need a quik replay.

Correct me if im wrong.
The best skills setup for fortfighters
are to max your leadership since leadership
inflicts both your chanse to dodge and your chanse to
land a hit?

I don't think so. I think that you need to find a balance between all quests to maximize the bonus. Someone came up with a spreadsheet and a way to calculate how to maximize your battle bonus.

If you're not level 120 then push leadership to at least 130. Don't go over 150, it's not worth it.
If you're level 120 you need no skillpoint in leadership, use leadership points from equipment only, all SP points from leadership on lower levels move via shaman to HP.

Of course the example given in that page of Leadership, Aim, Stamina is not totally a real scenario as stamina will most likely be covered by Strength AP, but you can replace that with Dodging or Hiding at your will.

So who's in charge of updating the guide or changing things on the OP?

Dodge/Tank Hybrid
Seems like a good build for only a defensive side there's no stamina for offense?

No one's in charge, this isn't official. I don't really like any of the builds.

The formulas are-
Chance to hit=25+aim^0.4+leadership^0.4+stamina^0.4

please tell me what does this "^" mean

ok dont understand the maths of this please calculate the following build

: leadership = 400, aiming 400 and stamina 400 . Ok not a math wiz but number seems incorrect.

DeletedUser

You can't have 400 in 3 skills.
No, you can't get 400 from the game and buy 800 more skills.

DeletedUser563

it was a hypothetical and it gives me 7 in attack on the scale. Which must be wrong. Walk me through the calculation I simplified it to 400 so we can really see the mechanics in it.

ok that as what i also got = 58 = +6 chance to hit. and 10000 ^ 0.4 = 39.89 so the equation must be flawed. 3 * 10000 would be 145 = +7 or +8

whereas using * instead would give you 160 * 3 = 480 + 25 = 505 = easy 10 which seems more realistic to me.
