Which pure makes most money

DeletedUser

Well ive read lots of posts about what pures there are and which ones other people do, but i have yet to find out which one makes the most money :blink:

So far i have a Buildier, which is fun because im the main builder in my town, and i have a Dueler, which is just so fun to mess around with.

Now i want a 3rd one which can get the spiffiest (probably got spelling pwned >.>) clothes and make the most money. Its probably gonna be an adventurer because of the money bonues, and the fact u cant be attacked because your not part of a town which means you can keep lots of cash on you. But now, which one makes the most money up to and around 30ish (dont really think ill ever get past that :bandit:)

Nashy (as himself)
Trade - Short Term (gets to the money fast but isn't as good as the rest)
Construction/Hiding - Midterm
Dex, Trapping & Shooting - Long term (makes the most if you stick with it long enough)

i think you got it backwards a bit

dex,traping and shooting short term

construction long term

hideing long term

Pure trader can be mining silver very early. Nothing else compares for making easy money, but there are very few high exp. jobs for a pure trader.

No it's defiantly the right way around.

Pure trader can be mining silver very early. Nothing else compares for making easy money, but there are very few high exp. jobs for a pure trader.

20% more than makes up for the extra $100 every 2 hours from the silver bar. Oil comes at around the same amount (or just under) and the two 92% jobs Dexers get makes more, plus xp and double the moral.

It all depends - if your aim is to only make money at low levels and not leveling up, the answer will be different from another the same build whose aim is to level up as quick as possible in order to do higher level jobs with potentially more money. You can only directly answer the question if you mean you would like to compare the maximum money to be made at each level for the different builds. In that case, go to Denisero's Pure Class Guides - there you can see and compare the money jobs that a trapper, trader of hider can do at each level. Take note also that the different builds may be able to reach the higher classes quicker or slower, again depending on how you play the specific build.

For Adventurers:

pure trader = more money jobs quickly
pure trapper = more xp jobs quickly
pure hiding = more luck jobs quickly

For Builder: mostly luck jobs quickly and money jobs later (check the link emperor wes gave for details)

Or you could try:

Trading (+charisma) until Silver mining becomes available (level 25, sooner with clothing), for 76% money
Then start rising leadership (+charisma). You gain access to:
- Clearing the forest (62% money) at level 51;
- Drilling for oil (83% money) at level 59;
- Steering a paddle steamer (82% money) at level 63;

Note: you will gain access to these jobs much sooner, helped by clothing and reassigning of skill points gained from quests. And with the money made from these jobs, fancy clothing and reassigning of skills will look cheap.

I hope those are all in different worlds.

Trading makes you money fast.. by lvl 35 I had every possible item I ever needed. But until you get Evangelising, you don't have an XP ***** of a job, so rankings wise you struggle.

Trappers don't make much money until they are able to Steal Horses or Serve in the Army, but they're probably doing those jobs before traders are Evangelising.

Building is pitiful cash wise until Building Windmills, Building Coffins and finally Drilling for Oil. And you can certainly get building coffins quciker if you specialise in repairing rather than construction to begin with.

Still you takes your money you makes your choice.

Pure Dex - Trapping gives you GREAT exp jobs, and if you can get a Golden Indian Neckalce (costs $600) and a Mustang (this two items are part of the Indian Set which gives bonuses) you can do Stealing Horses (which gives you around 150-200$) at level 30+

If you want money early on, go for Pure Trader.. Silver Mining gives high profit.. ;)

level 30? I have a trapper in world 1 i just started and I was stealing horses by level 20. I could have done it earlier, but you cant wear the cotton jackets till that level. you just need the right gear.

Not entirely true. My builders (w7 and beta) have never once done building coffins. On w7, I haven't even done a lot of drilling for oil. Those are two of the best two money jobs, but builder's XP jobs all make enough money that I've gotten most of the construction and dueling gear I need just from doing XP jobs.

Building a fort: 33% cash, 71% XP
Constructing a ranch house: 28% cash, 61% XP

Neither are great cash jobs, but those two jobs have made most of my money, supplemented by building windmills, drilling for oil, and iron mining.

I agree with Elmyr on this one. When you are a new builder and trying to level up as fast as possible in order to be a more efficient builder it's all about the xp. I made plenty of cash with the xp jobs that I didn't worry about doing high cash jobs at all. My w6 builder has never built coffins.

I can also do silver mining and clearing the forest on w7, and I've mostly just done them for the products for quests, not for the money.
