west stats lists this part of the series before printing the papers and returning the ruby. also before fighting the fire. did i miss something or is it out of order?

It is out of order and you need to wear some certain clothes for the quest to appear.

West Stats shows it as a sub-quest of Casino Banale. I'm not sure if that's correct or not, but you don't get the clue that tells you what to wear until Palaver.

Edit: Looking at the quest_ids, I think West Stats is correct. The two quests are 350 and 351, which is at the end of the group, but Casino Banale is available much earlier.

I didn't get to pavaler, but I did do the "clothes makes the man" quest. You posting that epilogue helped a lot. So I guess anytime after casino banale it appears if you are wearing the right clothes.

EDIT: I find an answer in another thread... I really should have searched first ;)

Yes, and is not that hard.
Everybody is talking about this. If you do some searching on the forum you might be able to put all the pieces together, or get to finish the pavaler quest and read the epilogue.

Reread what they're saying, they pretty much lay it all out for you without too much secretiveness.

I've seen it posted before, might've been deleted afterwards, dunno. Message me if you want and I could tell you.

If I could figure it out with crappy Google translations of the German on Beta, y'all can do it from the English...or you could search, the answer is around here somewhere.

try putting on the sombrero, fancy dress coat and aztec gold

The ghost town (Clothes make the man)

After you have gambled away a few dollars, you meet a gorgeous woman who tells you a little story once you buy her a drink. It's a story about a chest with three locks. Each of these locks needs a particular and very rare key. Even she doesn't know where this treasure is supposed to be, but she once saw one of the keys - shown to her by a member of the Confederate Army, who was traveling to his base...

somebody any idee

It's discussed elsewhere and has nothing to do with the Ghost Town quests. It's a clue about getting the third key, and if anyone does figure it out and posts it, it will be deleted.
