what are keys needed to?

is for some kind of secret adventure?

Probably a new quest, secret or otherwise. No known quest uses them, or the carrots or eggs from the April Fools quest, which are also in the West's images, besides the one key that's a reward in the new high level, and very difficult, quest, The Art Thief. I imagine there will be a secret quest like the one with the notes, but with the keys instead.

That's my guess as well. Just like the notes, there are 3 keys in the West images. Maybe when someone actually completes that part of the quest (lvl 75 one) we'll know more.

You have to find them yourself using known items and guessing others.

Key 1 on West Stats: http://m1.weststats.com/images/items/yield/key1.png
Random product in game: http://en7.the-west.net/images/items/yield/documents.png

So http://en7.the-west.net/images/items/yield/key1.png should be the first key.

Can you help me and Oli4g al little further? We are from The-West NL (click), and we are curious and think we found an answer. But we first need a confirmation.

Unfortunately Elmyr doesn't know the answer either (to my knowledge), but if your theory is correct remember to drop round again and let us know (via PM, no spoilers allowed on these forums).

Oli4g and i maybe found the answer, but we have to try it still on the quest itself. So Oli4g has to grow still 6 levels. And i'm only level 43, but i'm on my way for Hernando's Sword. I know exactly which requirement the quest has. :)

ive also got the key atm, & i have discovered a few things that happen when once you have it. I wonder if anyone else with the key wants to speculate with me about it, plz send me a pm then :)

Quite a few people have 2 keys but the 3rd one seems to be the issue, if its like hernando's quest without a hint it may never be found

As so as Athos Foil and Belle Starr Deringer... That i BET that is involved with some hidden quest, as its has been showned on Weststats data base (so in the west database) a looooong time ago...

Really, are you sure? I thought Mickey from .de figured it out by himself (and with the assistance of a hundred page thread of course)
