The ancient egyptians (at least 3500 BC) worshipped onions, believe it or not.

The funny thing is, though:
The ancient egyptians worshipped the onion because they believed it symbolized eternal life.
But this church states that there's no afterlife, whatsoever.
Why the difference in dogma?

but i love te people here...more than te onion itself ...so i guess at is one of te many differences of those two

Yeah...I don't think the ancient egyptians would choose an onion over a person, even if the onion is holy.

These two onion churches are very different.
Perhaps the solution would be to make a new onion church for the egyptian style of onion worship.

A lot of older religions required human sacrifices too, but you don't hear of many that still do. People change, circumstances change and beliefs change over time.
