Quick question, Does having a product equipped benefit you in anyway?
If so how? are there any specific products that give you a benefit? like a fishing rod? or perhaps a spade?

Default
Fireworks rocket, walking stick/kudram's parasol, water bucket, bag of marbles. They have the bonus at the description. Regular products such as fishing rod don't offer any bonuses. Sometimes a quest will require you to have a certain product equipped, but that's not really a bonus, but the way to finish the quest.
