Whats the best for duels? Looking at the weapons chart the knife has the highest damage, but you think a gun would be better than a knife in a fight??

well im just looking at the weapons and damage in general. On west stats web it shows them all it it looks like theres more knifes than guns. What do that majority of people use?

Melee = Str
Range = Dex
Str = Dmg + Defense
Dex = Dmg + Accuracy
Range = Dex
Str = Dmg + Defense

This is something that I find odd as well.
"You don't bring a knife to a gun fight."
The only explaination is that if you got a sneaky bandit who lays in wait for their target (like and assasin) or if someone is low on ammo.
Guns were the dominant force in the west, that's not the case here.
